Everyone, you have one day left to finish your ChaBooCha novel! How far along have you gotten in this challenge? Any progress is better than no progress, but, if you are in it to win it, you have just one more day.
We have heard from some amazing guest authors during this challenge and, I hope, you have learned some new ways of approaching different elements of your story and, also, the editing process. But what's important is that you have devoted some time towards writing your novel, whether or not you're going to "win" the challenge.
Use today to get some more words written of your story. Your the only one who can write your story, so we need you to write it.
Good luck!
Whooshing through the finish line. You're right. We're the only ones who can write our stories. I'll finish, but I'll have a shi_ _ y first draft. But. I'll have a first draft. Thanks for all you do, Becky. Huge hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this, Becky. I finished a chapter book and an alternate ending. Your challenge inspired me to finish this project that has been on my backburner for a LONG time.
ReplyDeleteI am creating a MG novel for younger readers from a PB manuscript, and have nine chapters written so far. Not sure if I will finish in time, but it is about 2/3 completed. More than I had done at the beginning, so either way, it's been a successful month for me. Thanks for the nudge!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you do Becky! I am happy with my accomplishments this month! Thank you for all the wonderful posts as they were all extremely helpful and informative! I love the challenge because it gets me into a regular writing routine which I intend to follow after the month is over! Thanks again for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI have 4000 words....it's not done, but it's started!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have one completed story, and two that are well on the way. One is about half way done, and one is a third done. One of these will be my focus in April (Just signed up for Camp NaNoWriMo to get it done!)
ReplyDeleteI have one completed and a couple of others in the works.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing research on the MG novel the entire time. so I still have loads to do but I feel like I have the voice of the main character down which is very important. I've also learned more about the MG novel.thanks for the posts.
ReplyDeleteI completed a first draft, miles to go, but happy with my progress over this busy month. Thanks for all the great posts!
ReplyDeleteI've gotten much more done on my revisions than I would have without the challenge. Thanks for prompting us and helping get so many stories into the world!
